This sophisticated, high energy Italian & Romanian restaurant pays tribute to Jim Durfy, a veteran of the South Florida restaurant scene who opened the original Rainbo Café in 1933. The Rainbo served as a casino & nightclub during the years following the Prohibition era. The restaurant attracted a well-healed and notorious crowd, said to include Al Capone and his cronies. The famous café would also write its own chapter in Hollywood’s history by appearing in Martin Scorsese’s thriller “Cape Fear” starring Nick Nolte & Robert DeNiro.
Villa Romana offers a diverse menu of rotating specialties that feature crisp and flavorful renditions of American favorites, healthy Mediterranean cuisine, sweet delights, and hearty recipes that allow the exceptional quality of ingredients and a touch of European flair to take center stage. It is a treat to the palate!
